A growing number of U.S. states — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Rhode Island, and others — have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws. While these laws differ in detail and in which businesses they cover, they generally give residents of those states some or all of the following rights with respect to their personal information:
• The right to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• The right to request deletion of your personal information.
• The right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
• The right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
• The right to receive a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable format.
• The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
• In most states, the right to appeal a denial of a privacy request.
As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect only identifiers (name, email), the content of messages you send us, and standard server/log data; we do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California and similar state laws. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" opt-out is currently required, and this website does not yet need to respond to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for that purpose — we will honor GPC and comparable opt-out preference signals where legally required if that changes.
California Shine the Light. California Civil Code § 1798.83 lets California residents ask what personal information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes in the past year. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
